Summit Off Duty Services began supporting a large, Dallas-based children’s healthcare system in 2020. What started as singularly focused job, guarding a construction site, has grown to include additional posts and campuses.
Over the past year, Summit’s officers have efficiently and effectively supported:
- Emergency departments, maintaining a calm, safe and secure environment.
- Pedestrian and driver safety along a two-way street that spans the front of the facility.
- An ongoing construction project by preventing theft, vandalism and unauthorized people from entering the site.
Summit officers compliment and support the FTE security team, now and into the future.
“In the healthcare environment, you cannot risk having a vacant post,” said Eddie Haisten, Summit’s client manager for the healthcare sector. “Summit serves a broad base of hospitals, filling in gaps and supporting full-time security teams where needed. They rely on our officers for the authority and expertise they’re uniquely and reliably able to deliver.”
Staff have reported feeling safer and the security operations manager has said of the Summit team, “I greatly appreciate everything you and your team do on our behalf and towards our mission to make life better for our patients. You are truly helping us make a difference every day!”
